Food Safety Training
We are offering places on both the Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety and the Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate courses at half price.
The Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering is designed for supervisors or managers in catering, food retailing or food production environments. The award enables them to:
- understand the requirements for food safety and hygiene
- apply systematic control in the workplace
- understand practical food hygiene and the hazards that exist allowing food safety to be achieved
Duration: 3.5 Days
Dates: 21, 28 February, 7 and 14 March 2007
20, 27 June, 4 and 11 July 2007
Price: £137.50 per delegate (reduced from £275.00 +VAT)
The Advanced Certificate in Food Safety is suitable for management staff within catering, retail or food production. On gaining this qualification you will be able to:
- define and control food safety within your own operation
- have an in-depth technical understanding of food safety and hygiene
Duration: 6.5 Days
Dates: 8, 15, 22 February, 1, 8, 15 and 29 March 2007
26 April, 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 May and 14 June 2007

NVQ Level 2
Employees may be eligible to work towards a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) at Level 2 in Food Preparation, Food & Drink Service, Multi skilled Hospitality, Team Leading or Customer Service which is all fully funded. As NVQ’s are focused on the working environment, all training and assessment takes place in the workplace, at a time that suits you.
