Introduction:
Focusing on ACS assessment in appliances to include: overhead radiant plaque, tube heaters direct, indirect fired heating appliances and boosters.

Course objectives/key benefits:
On completion delegates will be able to establish their safety and awareness and competency in the contents of the course below.

Course content:

• Commissioning various designs of appliances as listed above
• Installing
• Servicing
• Carrying out safety checks
• Checking the stability of flues and ventilation
• Identifying whether an installation conforms to current regulations and standards, and where necessary, recommend the appropriate remedial action

Training method:
Practical, theory workshop.

Course outcome/qualification:
Recommendation for assessment under ACS.

Pre-requisite knowledge/qualification:
Candidates should be experienced to Category 1 .
