Introduction:
Focusing on ACS assessment in appliances to include: cookers, space heaters and tumble dryers.
Course objectives/key benefits:
On completion delegates will be able to establish their safety and awareness and competency in the contents of the course below.
Course content:
Delegates will need to specify training needs applicable at time of booking.
- Commissioning various designs of cooker, space heater and tumble dryer
- Installing
- Servicing
- Carrying out safety checks
- Checking the stability of flues and ventilation
- Identifying whether an installation conforms to current regulations and standards, and where necessary, recommend the appropriate remedial action.
Training method:
Practical workshop and theory.
Course outcome/qualification:
Recommendation for assessment under ACS.
Pre-requisite knowledge/qualification:
Candidates should be experienced to Category 1.
