Introduction:
Depression in the elderly is an overlooked problem. This course is designed for care staff who wish to increase their understanding of depression in the elderly and to develop the appropriate skills to help clients overcome the debilitating problem of depression.
Course objectives/key benefits:
By the end of the course delegates will understand and be able to recognise clinical depression in the elderly, as well as being able to develop effective treatment and care programmes for elderly clients with depression.
