Construction Supervision and Management
The image of the construction industry has improved in recent years and firms have become more aware of the need to develop the skills of their supervisors and managers. Following the Egan report ‘Rethinking Construction’ and the introduction of CSCS registration, supervisory and management training has become more important. The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) has recognised the importance of the professional builder and a range of courses is now available to meet the industry’s needs, which ultimately leads to corporate membership of the CIOB.
