Introduction:
This ELECSA endorsed course provides a comprehensive guide to fulfilling the requirement of BS 7671:2008.
Course objectives/key benefits:
On completion delegates will be familiar with the:

Who the course is aimed at:
- Installers
- Supervisors
- Maintenance personnel in electrical contracting
The short course will follow the same format but is intended for persons who are pre-qualified to 16th Edition. One of the following certificates will allow the individual to complete the update:
- 2381 post January 2002
- 2360 Part 2 post January 2004
- 2330 Modules 07 and 08
Course content:
- Scope, object and fundamental requirements for safety definitions
- Assessment of general characteristics
- Protection for safety
- Selection and erection of equipment
- Special locations
- Inspection and testing
- Use of appendices

- BS 7671:2008 Wiring Regulations
- IEE On-Site Guide (when available)
- A scientific calculator
The above are also required for the exam:
- HSR25 Code of Practice for Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
