Introduction:

This ELECSA endorsed course provides a comprehensive guide to fulfilling the requirement of BS 7671:2008.

Course objectives/key benefits:

On completion delegates will be familiar with the:

Who the course is aimed at:

• Installers
• Supervisors
• Maintenance personnel in electrical contracting

The short course will follow the same format but is intended for persons who are pre-qualified to 16th Edition.  One of the following certificates will allow the individual to complete the update:

• 2381 post January 2002
• 2360 Part 2 post January 2004
• 2330 Modules 07 and 08

• Scope, object and fundamental requirements for safety definitions
• Assessment of general characteristics
• Protection for safety
• Selection and erection of equipment
• Special locations
• Inspection and testing
• Use of appendices

• BS 7671:2008 Wiring Regulations
• IEE On-Site Guide (when available)
• A scientific calculator
