Introduction:
Based on the IEE’s Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment in association with C&G.

On completion delegates will be able to:
Undertake and record inspection and testing of
electrical equipment.
Who the course is aimed at:
Those who carry out inspection and testing of in-service electrical equipment and have workplace experience in inspection and testing of portable electrical appliances.

Training method:
Seminar, practical ‘hands-on’ exercise, one hour multiple choice assessment.
Course outcome/qualification:
City & Guilds Certificate of Competence for the Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment – which successful candidates will be forwarded 6-8 weeks after course.
Pre-requisite knowledge/qualification:
- Familiarity with the ‘Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment’ – pre-course reading is recommended.
- HSR25 Code of Practice for Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
