Introduction:

This course is for those wishing to install water recovery systems.
 

Course objectives/key benefits:

Completion of the course will give the participant the skills necessary to install rainwater harvesting and Greywater recovery systems.
 

Who the course is aimed at:

The course is intended for experienced plumbers; heating engineers or gas/oil installers who wish to be able to satisfy the requirements of the building Regulations in relation to this method of sustainable technology.
 

Course content:

  • Understanding the need to conserve water in and around buildings
  • Design and installation
  • Maintenance of these water recovery systems

Powerpoint presentations and hands on practical demonstrations
 

Course outcomes:

BPEC Certificate in Rainwater Harvesting and Greywater Recovery Systems
 

Pre-requisite knowledge/qualifications:

Appropriate NVQ or similar in Plumbing/Heating or a gas/oil certificate; Water Regulation qualification.
