Introduction:
The Renewable Energy Awareness Course is designed to inform and educate individuals regarding various renewable technologies.
Course objectives/key benefits:
The course aim is to give background to each of these technologies, to explain what each technology will and won’t do and to cover payback periods, grants, costs, etc.
Who the course is aimed at:
The target client base can be wide and varied from the general public through to employers, architects and specifiers, housing officers, teachers, students, individuals who have completed S/NVQ and builds merchants/DIY store employees.
Course Content:
The course consists of seven 2-hour modules: Energy Efficiency, Solar Thermal Hot Water, Biomass, Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Wind Power and Micro-Hydro.
