Commercial Appliances Training

Introduction:
Focusing on ACS assessment in appliances to include: overhead radiant plaque, tube heaters direct, indirect fired heating appliances and boosters.

Course objectives/key benefits:
On completion delegates will be able to establish their safety and awareness and competency in the contents of the course below.

Course content:
Commissioning various designs of appliances as listed above
Installing
Servicing
Carrying out safety checks
Checking the stability of flues and ventilation
Identifying whether an installation conforms to current regulations and standards, and where necessary, recommend the appropriate remedial action

Training method:
Practical, theory workshop.

Course outcome/qualification:
Recommendation for assessment under ACS.

Pre-requisite knowledge/qualification:
Candidates should be experienced to Category 1 .
