Cost and Dates: This is available on your company site or alternatively at our accredited training centre. We can adapt this training to suit your requirements.
Duration: Courses last between 1 and 5 days depending on experience.
Introduction:
It is a legislative requirement that all new operators of the forklift truck are trained and hold a license to prove competence. The PTC can offer both the training and/or the assessment for forklift trucks.
Who the course is aimed at:
Anyone who needs to be qualified to operate a forklift truck.
Course objectives/key benefits:
Provide delegates with:
- Practical instruction
- Instruction on pre-use checks
- A license to use a designated forklift
Course tutor:
An ITSSAR qualified member of the Associated Trainers team.
Course outcome:
On successful completion of the course and the tests, delegates will receive an ITSSAR Certificate. Pre-requisite knowledge: There are no pre-requisite requirements for the forklift training course although if anyone has any learning disabilities we would need to be informed of this prior to the course commencing.
All candidates must be medically fit to drive a forklift truck and cannot have suffered a waking seizure in the 12 months preceding the training course.
