We are delighted to announce Colchester Institute's success at the East of England Construction Training Awards 2009. The Awards, held at the Radisson SAS Stansted on Thursday 1st October, set aside the challenges that the construction industry has faced during a very tough year.
The College won the Colin Harvey Award for the Outstanding Training Provider of the Year. Organised by training body ConstructionSkills, the awards went ahead despite the difficulties encountered in the construction trade over the past year.
As the business arm of Colchester Institute, The Professional Training Centre were delighted with the success as it reinforces the strong links we have with employers. Head of the Construction Centre Steve Dale said 'We strive to attract, nurture and retain the best talent available and training is vital to achieving that. The most valuable asset any construction business has is its workforce and that is why this award is gratefully received on their behalf.'
The PTC would like to thank all the employers who provided us with the testimonials and quotes that helped us to secure this award.
